Abstract

The article reviews all the works devoted to Dante by Prof. Luigi Blasucci. Various lines of interpretation emerge clearly, for example in relation to the use of ‘energetic’ metaphors, of rhetorical techniques to mark the beginnings of the cantos, etc. Also crucial are analyses of individual cantos, and in general of the second ‘cantica’. About the Purgatorio, key features on the narrative and temporal sides are highlighted by the critic.
