Venere infera: la struttura ovidiana del mito di Orfeo nella Recherche di Marcel Proust
Contenuto principale dell'articolo
Abstract
This essay addresses the question of the recurrence of the myth of Orpheus – as it is specifically narrated and reshaped by Ovidius in the X book of his Metamorphoses – in Marcel Proust’s À la recherche du temps perdu. In the following analysis, the author shows how deeply the Ovidian configuration of the myth of Orpheus informs not only the morphology of Proustian narration but also and above all its conceptual structure as well as its representation of desire.
